Find your way to the heart of luxury. 

Kuala Lumpur International Airport is located 43 kilometers south of the city centre. Airport departure taxes are USD 12 for international flights, USD 6 for travel to Singapore and Brunei, and USD 2 for domestic flights.

It takes approximately 45 minutes from Kuala Lumpur International Airport to Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

There are several options to reach Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. Guests can choose between hotel limousine pick-up, express train and taxi.

For hotel limousine services requested during the hours of 11pm to 6am, there will be an additional charge of 50% from the above rates.
Charges will be imposed for no-shows and any cancellations made two hours prior to pick-up time.

Taxi

Budget taxis that require purchase of a coupon are also available. Coupons can be purchased at any budget taxi registered counter in the airport arrival hall.

Express Train

Guests may also ride on the KLIA Express train. The non-stop journey between KL Sentral and KLIA takes only 28 minutes.

KLIA Express departs from both terminals every 15 minutes on the hour and every quarter of an hour, seven days a week. A one-way ticket on KLIA Express is approximately USD 10.

Travel time on the KLIA Express train is 28 minutes from the airport to KL Sentral. From KL Sentral, it is a 20-minute taxi ride to the hotel. Taxi coupons are available at any registered counter at the arrival hall of KL Sentral, costing approximately USD 5.
